1938 1st Jaguar races in North America: Paul Marx ran SS100 in Automobile Racing Club of America events.

The 1950s

1950 1st XK120 races in North America: January 1950 at Palm Beach Shores, Florida. Driver: Leslie Johnson. Finishes 4th overall (first production car).
1950 XK120 lightweight wins inaugural Pebble Beach Road Race. Driver: Phil Hill.
1950 Jaguar XK120 finishes 12th in Le Mans 24-Hour race.
Drivers: Clark & Haines. Other Jaguar finishes 15th.
1951 C-type wins the Sheldon Cup at Elkhart Lake. First win for the C-type in the US. Driver: Phil Hill.
1951 1st place Jaguar C-type in Le Mans 24-Hour race.
Drivers: Walker & Whitehead.
1952 Jaguar C-type places 1st in Le Mans 24-Hour race.
Drivers: Rolt & Hamilton. Other Jaguars finish 2nd, 4th, and 9th.
1953 D-type finishes 2nd in Le Mans race.
Drivers: Rolt & Hamilton. Other Jaguar finishes 4th.
1954 1st place D-type in Le Mans 24-Hour race.

1955 D-type wins Sebring 12-Hour race: Factory team.

1955 D-type wins Grand Prix, Watkins Glen.

1956 XK-SS wins S.C.C.A. races at Mansfield, Louisiana.

1956 Jaguar D-type finishes 1st in Le Mans 24-Hour race.
Drivers: Flockhart & Bueb. Other Jaguars finish 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th.
The 1960s
1960 'E2A' E-Type prototype wins at Bridgehampton: Fielded by the factory-backed Briggs Cunningham team. Driver: Walt Hansgen.
1961 1st production E-Type wins at St. Eugene, Montreal: June 18th. C.R.D.A. Championship event. Driver: Norman Namerow.
1961 Lightweight E-Type places 3rd overall at Sebring: Fielded by British Motorcar Distributors, a California Jaguar dealer. Driver: Ed Leslie & Frank Morrill.
1962 E-Type places 4th in Le Mans 24-Hour race. Drivers: Cunningham & Salvadori. Other Jaguar finishes 5th.
1964 Jaguar's 1st S.C.C.A. National Championship: E-Type is built by Huffaker Engineering, backed by Kjell Qvale's British Motor Car Distributors dealership. Driver: Merle Brennan. Wins 39 out of 41 races and is virtually unbeatable in its class from 1963-1965.
The 1970s
1975 Jaguar wins S.C.C.A. B-Production Championship: Factory-sponsored Group 44 teams field V-12 E-Type. Driver: Bob Tullius.
1976 1st XJS wins at Lime Rock, Connecticut: Labor Day S.C.C.A. B-Production race. Group 44 factory team. Driver: Bob Tullius.
1977 Group 44 wins S.C.C.A. Trans-Am Drivers' title: Factory-backed XJS. Driver: Bob Tullius.
1977 Group 44 wins S.C.C.A. Trans-Am Drivers & Manufacturers titles: Factory-backed team, XJS. Drivers: Bob Tullius (champion), with Brian Fuerstenau (co-driving).
1980 Jaguar E-Type wins S.C.C.A. C-Production Championship: Built and fielded by Gran Turismo Jaguar of East Lake, Ohio. Driver: Freddie Baker.
1982-86 Group 44 introduces XJR-5 and XJR-7 GTP cars in I.M.S.A.: The XJR-5 is the first factory Jaguar prototype to race since E2A in 1960.
1983 1st Jaguar XJR-5 wins at Atlanta I.M.S.A. race: Group 44 factory team. Drivers: Bob Tullius & Bill Adam.
1984 Jaguar XJR-5s finish 1st and 2nd at Miami I.M.S.A. race. Drivers: 1st place Brian Redman & Hurley Haywood; 2nd place Bob Tullius & Bill Adam.
1984 1st Jaguar factory entry at Le Mans since 1957 and first U.S. Jaguar team entry since Briggs Cunningham in 1963: Group 44 sends two XJR-5s to Le Mans. Drivers: Tony Adamowicz, John Watson, Claude Ballot-Lena, Bob Tullius, 'Doc' Bundy, & Brian Redman.
1985 1st Le Mans finish for Jaguar since 1957: Group 44's XJR-7 finishes in 13th place. 1st XJR-7 Drivers: Bob Tullius, Chip Robinson, & Claude Ballot-Lena. 2nd XJR-7 Drivers: Brian Redman, Hurley Haywood, & Jim Adams.
1986 Group 44 wins finale at Daytona International Speedway. Drivers: Bob Tullius & Chip Robinson.
1987 Jaguar XJR-8 finishes 5th in Le Mans race. Drivers: Lammers, Boesel, & Cheever.
1988 XJR-9 places 1st in Le Mans 24-Hour race. Drivers: Lammers, Wallace, & Dumfries. Other Jaguars finish 4th and 6th.
1988 1st Daytona 24-Hour victory for Jaguar: Tom Walkinshaw Racing factory team XJR-9. Drivers: Martin Brundle, John Nielsen, & Raul Boesel.
1989 Jaguar places 2nd in Daytona 24-Hour race: Tom Walkinshaw Racing factory team XJR-9. Drivers: Price Cobb, John Nielsen, Andy Wallace, & Jan Lammers.
1989 4th place Jaguar XJR-9 in Le Mans race. Drivers: Lammers, Tambay, & Gilbert-Scott. Other Jaguar finishes 8th.
The 1990's
1990 Jaguar finishes 1st and 2nd in Daytona 24-Hour race: Tom Walkinshaw Racing factory team XJR-12. Drivers: 1st place Davy Jones, Jan Lammers, & Andy Wallace; 2nd place Price Cobb, John Nielsen, & Martin Brundle.
1990 XJR-12 finishes 1st in Le Mans 24-Hour race. Drivers: Brundle, Nielsen, & Cob. Other Jaguar finishes 2nd.
1991 2nd place Jaguar XJR-12 in Le Mans 12-Hour race. Drivers: Jones, Boesel, & Ferte. Other Jaguars finish 3rd and 4th.
1992 Jaguar places 2nd in Daytona 24-Hour race: Tom Walkinshaw Racing factory team XJR-12. Drivers: Davy Jones, David Brabham, Scott Pruett, & Scott Goodyear.
1993 Jaguar XJ220 wins GT class at Brainerd, Minnesota: I.M.S.A. Camel GT race. Tom Walkinshaw Racing factory team. Driver: Davy Jones.
The 2000s
2000 1st S.C.C.A. Trans-Am wins in XKR at Detroit, Michigan: Independent entry by Rocketsports Racing. Driver: Paul Gentilozzi.
2001 Paul Gentilozzi wins the S.C.C.A. Trans-Am Drivers' Championship in XKR, and helps Jaguar win the Manufacturers' Championship.
2002 Rolex 24-Hours at Daytona: Rocketsports Racing wins the GTS class and finishes 5th overall. Drivers: Brian Simo, Scott Pruett, & Michael Lauer.
2003 Jaguar R-Performance XKR wins Trans-Am Drivers' Championship. Driver: Scott Pruett.
2003 Jaguar takes Trans-Am Manufacturers' Championship.
2003 Jorge Diaz, Jr., Driver of the Don Q Rum Jaguar XKR, wins Trans-Am Rookie of the Year.
2003 Jaguar and Rocketsports Racing introduce the AJ-V8 racing engine based on production engines in XK, XJ and S-Type models at Trans-Am season finale in Puerto Rico. The new AJ-V8 racing engine powers driver Scott Pruett to the pole position in qualifying.
